Business Development Manager

NS Nordics is looking for an energized and capable professional for the role of Business Development Manager in Norway .

As our new team member, you will be part of an exciting journey in a company with great diversity and possibilities! We are looking for a passionate Business Development Manager in Norway, with extensive experience and knowledge of the construction industry, they will be passionate, love building new relationships, and winning new business.

Responsibilities:

  • A minimum of 5 years office based experience in a Sales and/or Business Development role, within an M & E, Construction or Building Services Company, with a proven track record of securing works packages in excess of £3m.
  • Third level qualification in Business, Engineering or similar, with a strong understanding of Mechanical and Electrical systems.
  • Ability to influence, communicate effectively and engender confidence in senior managers and decision makers through face-to-face, online, telephone and written communication.
  • Ability to convert high value projects, demonstrating strong commercial and contractual awareness combined with technical understanding.
  • Experience in preparing and delivering exceptional quality presentations and sales documents in order to generate leads and grown client base.
  • Computer literate, with attention to detail and a methodical approach.
  • Ability to generate and manage workloads in order to achieve targets.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively to efficiently meet client requirements and company targets.

  • Experience of working in industrial manufacturing
  • Commercial experience with proven ability to increase sales in key accounts and industrial markets

Qualification & Experience:

  • Degree in Business and or Engineering
  • Computer literate – intermediate level or above in Word and Excel
  • Fluent in Norwegian language
