Planning Engineer
About the role
As a Planning Engineer, you will assist in Planning and Execution within the construction and industrial sectors. The Planning Engineer must be proficient in managing internal and external challenges throughout the planning and delivery phases, ensuring comprehensive oversight throughout the project lifecycle to achieve profitable outcomes, and must be equipped to lead, plan, and execute projects of varying scales.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project progress assessments encompassing both physical and financial aspects.
- Generate fortnightly and monthly target reports to ensure projects stay within budget and meet established deadlines.
- Prepare and deliver project briefings and presentations on a weekly/monthly basis.
- Document and distribute Minutes of Meetings (MOM).
- Provide valuable support and assistance to line managers or Lead Planners.
- Review and approve project work schedules, evaluating P6 schedules, cash flow, and risk mitigation plans submitted by respective companies.
- Exercise control over engineering activities to uphold work standards, adhere to timelines, and achieve quality assurance targets.
