Heathrow Airport Portfolio Management of 5 Years Change Activities
Heathrow 5 years business strategy is being developed using a portfolio approach so that the change activities planned across 2014 -2019 align with Heathrow’s strategic intent of spending £2 Billion. As a senior planning representative of the EC Harris Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) team ensuring changes are focused on strategic objectives and issues; maximize the benefit to airport stakeholders and business. Defining the success criteria associated with these objectives and the scope of the portfolio. All business case plans for Q6 are being carried out by EC Harris as Lead MSP.
In addition design and development plan for the strategic development of capital programs and projects. Managing programs and projects through the early stages from project brief (initiate) to Implement stage. Monitoring design deliverables and planning options to solution development stages. Ensuring all internal and external stakeholders engage in the approvals and funding processes. Benefits realization (production of business plans, whole life cycle costing, and explanation of business benefits, measurement of benefit accrual). Managing an individual portfolio of 9 business cases/projects which are two third of the Heathrow £2m program spread.
